Our Value Income Strategy invests in publicly traded real estate securities, primarily real estate investment trusts (REITs). The investment objective is to outperform the MSCI US REIT Total Return Index (RMS)* over a market cycle. There can be no assurance that the Value Income Strategy will achieve this objective.
These portfolios are concentrated and seek to combine the most attractively priced core real estate companies with a mix of under-followed, out-of-favor and out-of-cycle companies.
* The RMS is a total return market capitalization weighted index which prices once per day after market close. It is calculated by Morgan Stanley and is based on the member constituents of the RMZ index.
